Hello Stingrays families and welcome back to another season!
We hope that you will join us on Saturday, September 19 from 11 - 2pm at Arbutus Park in Youbou for our 1st get-together where we can all mix -it-up with one another and get excited about hopping back in the pool for another amazing season. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share summer stories, catch up and get to know one another a little better.
At this moment, we are making this an informal get together, potluck style. Further details will be posted as we near the date.
Following are a few key items to take note of:
- This is a kid friendly event. Please plan food & drink choices and activities accordingly while in attendance (no glass please!)
- This is also a GREEN EVENT and we ask that everyone bring their own reusable plates, cups, water bottles and cutlery.
- Plan to pack your garbage out. It would be a great idea to bring along a garbage bag of your own so that food scraps and plastic can be safely stowed for your car ride home.
- Bring a chair so you can sit comfortably while still maintaining social distancing protocols.
- Swimmer Annual Awards --> we're excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our Swimmers from the season past!
- Meet the 2026 / 27 Stingrays Staff
- Apparel lookie-loos.
This is going to be a wonderful event and loads of fun. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
