Leanne Sirup

Head Coach & Director of Operations

Leanne is entering her 17th season as the Stingrays Head Coach.  She is certified as an NCCP Sr Coach (L3) and is working towards her Advanced Coaching Diploma with the Canadian Sport Institute: Ontario (L4).

Leanne is also a National Coaching Certification Program Learning Facilitator for Swim BC with the NCCP programs: Community Sport Coach, FUNdamentals 101 (L1), and Age Group 201 (L2) courses.

Our HC is also the pleased to be Head Coach for Team BC: Indigenous Sport since 2004.​​​​​​​

Leanne's regular Office Hours are M - F @ 1230 - 330 and families can expect a response to their emails within 2 business days.

Olivia Charles

Assistant Head Coach

 Olivia is entering her first season as a coach with the Stingrays. She was a competitive swimmer in Calgary, Alberta with the Cascade Swim Club for eight years as well as a brief Stingrays swimmer in her eighth year. She went on to compete for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Swim team for three years and has just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts French Degree. 
​​​​​​​She’s had 8 years of coaching experience, including summer club and for the UofL Pronghorns Jr. Horns swim team, which is very similar to the Fundamentals and Swim Active groups. She is NCCP L1 certified and working towards her L2. She is so very excited to bring her competitive swimming knowledge as a swimmer as well as a coach to our team.

Natalie Ensz

DST Masters Coach

Natalie comes to the Stingrays with a great background in the Sport of Swimming starting from being a Chilliwack Spartans Swimmer all the way to racing Open Water in Turkey!  

Natalie is our Lead Coach for the Masters program and is excited about working with the adults towards your goals.  ​​​​​​​

Chelsea Langelo

DST Senior Coach

Chelsea is entering her 14th season with the Stingrays and is an integral part of our Sr swimming program. 
Chelsea brings a wealth of experience from both a SwimBC & BCSSA background as an Athlete and a Coach.  Chelsea is trained as an NCCP Age Group Coach (L2), certified NCCP FUNdamentals Coach (L1), and certified as a Swim Instructor for both Red Cross and I Can Swim.​​​​​

Kim MacLean

Yoga Instructor

Kim is in her 19th year of Yoga and began her YTT 200 hour teacher training program in 2014 and she started formally teaching in 2015. Kim is certified to teach with a trauma informed lense and has taught 1000s of hours of group classes.  Sports that have utilized Kim's talent and skills include youth hockey, soccer, skating, and field hockey teams as well as adults and special needs kids.

Carrie Matheson

DST Registrar & Officials Administrator

Carrie is an NCCP Age Group Certified Coach (L2) with a teaching background. 
Carrie's primary employment is with Swim BC as their Sr Manager, Technical Operations.
​​​​​​​We're excited for the depth and experience that Carrie is bringing to our club.
