Regional
A & B Groups
Swimmers in these groups are
given continued emphasis on stroke development for all strokes.
Ability of doing all 4 strokes is mandatory and swimmers will be
challenged to the appropriate individual skill level. This group is
introduced to proper training techniques for aerobic and anaerobic
work, as well as dryland and flexibility training. Competition is
encouraged for those participating in this level of training. The
Regional group is mainly broken up into Regional ‘A’ (11 &
over) and Regional ‘B’ (10 & under).
Major
goals:
To achieve AA time
standards and compete in All-Level meets, as well as the Vancouver
Island Regional Championships.
